# Chemistry — Super Simple
**Chemistry** is the science of **stuff**: what it is made of, how it looks, and what happens when stuff meets other stuff.
### Kitchen chemistry
- **Lemonade** — acid (sour) + sugar (sweet) + water (dilutes/cools) + salt
- **Baking soda (NaHCO₃)** — heated → **CO₂** gas → holes that make cake/idli fluffy
### Two big words
